Thoughts so far? Great escape by the Cavs last night to go up 3-0! I'll have to watch that one tonight. Bit surprised at Boston being down 2-0, despite the issues Thomas has had to deal with. Bulls just playing really well all of a sudden. If they get past Boston I fancy a Cavs-Wizards conference final.
Out West its as expected, dull blowouts and no surprises. GS look like they play better when Durant sits, I think they're favourites whether he plays or not though. He'll get his easy ring *slow clap* but it's hardly respectable. Hoping Spurs can at least make a series of it because it's pretty boring watching 25 point routs all the time.

I haven't seen many games but have watched quite a few highlights. Hoping the Raptors get through their series but if they do I expect them to be out the next round. Nice to see the Celtics get a win. I agree it will probably be a Cavs-Wizard final.
Agree re most of the Western teams. I have a friend who is a Thunder fan and was convinced Rockets would sweep Thunder. I said Rockets would take it 4-2, I think they still will. The games have been a lot closer than some thought they would be. Would like to see Memphis take the series over Spurs!

Bit disappointed with last night, feel the series should be 2-2 now but then again game 3 could have gone either way as well. Harden pushing off to get free on that late possession was a ridiculous no-call though, and led to him getting 2 key free throws when it should have been the other way round.
I think now Boston have levelled up at 2-2 they will close the series out. It isn't often you see the first 4 games of a series all won by the road team! Even so I still fancy Washington getting past Atlanta and then upsetting the C's.
Utah-Clippers has warmed up nicely and with both Gobert and Griffin out it's kind of fair for both teams now. Neither is getting past round 2 anyway, we all know that and they know it - but it would be more meaningful for Utah to win this series I think. The Clippers need to blow it up and start over, unless they're happy with always being a round 1 or 2 team.
Can't agree about Grizzlies over Spurs - despite SA not looking convincing so far, I'm still sure they are the only team that can give GS a series. Hoping for at least some sort of competition for GS to overcome along the way to this predictable title.
For me the surprises so far are the amount of road wins, the high scoring and some strange blow outs.
In games ive watched the officiating seems very lax. There is currently an article on ESPN about Hoiberg complaining about Thomas travelling. I don't notice him so much but I do notice Lebron James! A lot of his travels are meaningless - when he collects the ball after the Pacers scored to bring it up the court he often takes at least 2 steps before dribbling. However on some of his steam roller drives he also takes 3 very blatant big old steps and you have to feel for any defender trying to guard such a player when hes also doing that.
It was a great comeback (or choke) versus the Pacers but there was a huge call at end of game 3 where George was fouled and it was given to Cavs as an out of bounds play.
I have to disagree about the Spurs who I am very fond of. SAdly I see them fading in these playoffs. the regular season just shows what a great coach Pop is. I almost hope they don't limp through to play the Warriors.
2NFR: Hogg could do a lot worse, Sharks on a bit of a roll right now ... could be the top team next season (depends if Attiba stays or not)

brummiedunk: Easy for Raiders: 1) Corletto, Sturt, Dixon, Costelloe (my god, he is a good pg and will be HUGE! I didn't even miss josh 2) Elsewhere? Washington from Riders - class! 3) Who wouldn't? Corletto is a god (You hate us but we don't care!)
