I still think LeBron is the best all around and most consistent player, and he'd put up even better numbers if he was playing with an all star cast where he isn't double teamed and can score at will. KD has been made to look impressive by his situation but he's still the same player he's always been, he just doesn't face the same defensive intensity anymore. I had Leonard 2nd as I think he's the best 2 way player in the game, and I read that in the total number of minutes he was on the floor against the Warriors all last season, the Spurs out-scored them by over 30 points in that time!
I like your starting 5 though, I'd sub Westbrook in for Curry but otherwise keep it as is.
Well I see the only difference in the lists was I had Embiid and you had Green. I like that you also found space for PG13! I think Green is arguable but again, perhaps he benefits from the situation he's in. I'm looking forward to the day he winds up on an average team so we can see what he can really do when more focus is on him. But I don't think he is top 10, no. I'd probably have Cousins ahead of him, but Cousins loses out here because of his lack of mental application.
Well considering the experts and players voted Westbrook to start the all star game, and Curry only got it because of the fan vote (the same fans who voted Zaza to start) and the players just voted Russ their MVP, I guess that helps answer your question. The debate should probably be if Curry or Leonard gets the other spot but I'd sooner have all around great players especially with the scoring power already on that starting 5.
To be honest I think when playing with other All Star calibre players that Curry is a better fit. He has more pure PG skills than Westbrook and his ridiculous accuracy from long range helps space the floor for some of my elite wings.
Westbrook is a fantastic 1 man wrecking machine. NOt so sure he is great at being in tandem.....lets see if he proves me wrong with PG.
The reason I'd go for RW, apart from cos he's on my team, is because I think he is the better all around player and a better defender than curry. Obviously that roster would be unbeatable regardless (except maybe in a video game where you could use former players in their prime!) but I think that team already has enough scoring power so I'd rather have a better all around point guard. People think all Westbrook can do is dunk but he averaged over 10 boards and 10 assists a game too remember. Curry didn't do that and he was playing with all stars, Russ was playing with garbage. On this team he could probably average 20 apg!
2NFR: Hogg could do a lot worse, Sharks on a bit of a roll right now ... could be the top team next season (depends if Attiba stays or not)

brummiedunk: Easy for Raiders: 1) Corletto, Sturt, Dixon, Costelloe (my god, he is a good pg and will be HUGE! I didn't even miss josh 2) Elsewhere? Washington from Riders - class! 3) Who wouldn't? Corletto is a god (You hate us but we don't care!)
