Plymouth Raiders / Bristol Flyers v Glasgow Rocks Leicester Riders v Newcastle Eagles London Lions v London City Royals / Worcester Wolves Sheffield Sharks / Cheshire Phoenix v Surrey Scorchers / Manchester Giants
As a reminder..........
First Round – 26-28 Oct As with last season, the top four teams in the BBL Championship last season receive a bye to the Quarter Finals. The eight remaining BBL teams therefore take part in the First Round.
Quarter Finals – 16-18 Nov The four winners from the First Round will join the top four teams from last season in an open draw that will also be conducted on Wednesday.
Semi Finals – 7-9 Dec – played over two legs
Final – Sunday 27 January 2018 @ Arena Birmingham
I missed the draw, did they seriously pull out 2 seeded teams in the same fixture? Would they not generally have a seeded team play a qualified team?
Not that I mind of course, will be a good game regardless.
Will be interesting to have a non-BBL team coming to Sport Central for the Trophy. Cant remember the last time that happened, although I'm sure its more recently than I remember. Slight shame it won't be in the new arena though.
Also the only possible Riders vs Eagles final is the playoffs. Hopefully we see some new faces on court at the Emirates and Barclaycard arena this season!
I like the trophy format, although the way the draw has gone means only one of last year's top 3 can get to the final! From previous years form you'd think that the winner of Rocks v Wolves would feel cautiously optimistic about reaching the final.

Two away ties if we're to do well in the cup and home then away in the trophy. If you're a season ticket holder, depending on your clubs approach to knock out games ticket wise, you could have 3/4/5 home games for the same money.

chickenbroncitis: a good result to beat the sharks. Hopefully Lions getting rid of that coach will give us a good play off push and put us in the mix with the Eagles and Riders where we should be

ballerman: And there's our problem. You really only care about your own club. The Leicester cheer leader only cares about the competition his team plays in.
