A little Saturday toy for you all to play with if you wish. I put together a little program for putting you, the viewer, in control of the cameras you're watching when you watch a basketball match. Simply unzip the following file onto your computer and run Basketball Test.exe, the program needs no installing and the folder/zip file can simply be deleted when you're finished if you wish. You'll just have to trust me that it's not a virus!! The download is 1.1GB, so please make sure you have a few GB space available before you begin.
When you've opened the program, the video will start playing, you'll start off looking at the left hand balcony view towards the end of our recent match vs Nottingham Hoods. In the corners of the video you'll find some buttons for changing the viewing angle. You'll also find buttons to move back/forward by 5 seconds, toggle slow motion mode (not as smooth as it should be, work in progress!!), and a button to quit. You can also Alt + F4 to quit. I would suggest running the program at 1920x1080 full screen but you can try others and see what happens.
You can also press H to hide the UI and use the following shortcuts instead:
On Keypad, make sure Numlock is on.
1 - Left view 3 - Right view 4 - Close up left view 6 - Close up right view
S - Toggle Slow Motion R - Rewind 5 seconds F - Fast-forward 5 seconds H - Hide/Unhide UI
